Looking for Order Entry reps to join our team on a contract basis. These people will be working out of a general email inbox to process orders. They will be working within workflow which is our current order management software. We are upgrading to SAP in a few months.
They will be working within dual screens They will be working mainly within email, once the order is placed or comes in they will then check to make sure everything looks good in terms of product, quote, and lead times. There may be certain points that they need to reach out to the purchasing department to check the quote, then call down to the warehouse to make sure the product is in. They just had an example of an issue where the system showed the product in, but the client didn't receive the order. The rep had to call down to the warehouse, have them go over to the shelf and do a count, they realized they didn't have the amount of product at that time so they had to put a rush on the account/product. This was then communicated back to the client. A lot of the customer service comes after the order is placed.
Starting off there will be about 15 orders a day, but then moving to 40 orders per day when they start to understand what there doing.
